Editing your ebook

Published by houdini16409 at 6:21 pm under Tips and Techniques Edit This

Once you have taken the time to research and write your eBook, you now have to spend some time editing your eBook before you even think of publishing it.  This will make or break the success of your eBook, and you want to take the time to do so.  If you are not good at editing, you will either want to hire someone to do so, or even have a knowledgeable friend or family member help you with the editing process.

Spelling and grammar are not the only things you want to consider while editing.  You want to look at the overall readability of the book.  Look over your eBook as a reader would.  Does it read the way you would like it to?  Do you get your overall points across?  These are things to consider when editing your eBook.

Send copies of your book to friends and trusted family members to read it over.  Take the use of their comments and make changes if needed.  It is important to spend a lot of time during this process, so that your eBook will be more successful in the long run.
